I’m sure that I’ll be banned from this site but I have to say this anyway… It’s not my place to judge you, but we do need to try and help others when we think that we can.
I’m only concerned for others that may read this and have no knowledge of what the Bible really says.

Please, do not quote from the very book that has condemned homosexuality as an abomination. You have taken this verse completely out of context! It was in no way speaking to or about the homosexual community and by NO means was it condoning the lifestyle. If you have CHOSEN this way of life just stand up and proudly claim it. But don’t try to confuse others by mis-representing the Bible.

Now, that being said… We all have sinned and I’m, BY FAR, no better than the next person. The truth be known, I’ve probably performed greater sins than the majority of you. I personaly believe that we will all have to account for our life. The only thing, that I can think of, that could be worse than going to hell, is taking others with me…

Do not be a stumbling block to others… If you feel that your life style is correct, enjoy it. Just try not to read things into the Bible that aren’t there.

I am both blessed and grateful that my Mom and my Dad, both now dearly departed, always seemed to put the happiness and well-being of their children above their own. If they were alive today and could see how happy I have become, I believe they would still love me just as much or even more as their daughter as they loved me as their son. I seem to have either passed that legacy on to my own son or he was born with the same regard for the well-being of others often even before his own, as they demonstrated by their example when they were still alive. My only regret is that his mother, my wife, is not here to witness his further growth as the Indigo child both his mother and I saw him to be as the product of our own love for all humanity.

It sounds to me that there may be be a shadow of denial afoot in this whole controversy because, according to a news article on the Opinion page of the NY Times, dated 7-20-2012, Lord Baden-Powell, the alleged founder of the International Boy Scout movement in Britain in 1910, may have actually been a closet Gay and possibly transgender, not to mention that he was, in principle, a fascist with possible ties to the Hitler Youth Corps, founded in 1923.
For those of you old enough to remember Artie Shaw’s famous retort on the runaway hit show of the late 1960′s, Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In , “verrrry in-ter-est-ing!”

There is another quote found in Matthew 7:1 which is probably one of the most misquoted texts in the Bible “Judge not, lest ye be judged. (KJV). Since I was not raised Catholic nor can I now consider myself a Christian because I no longer prescribe (establish, direct, or lay down as a rule) to either the Nicene or Apostle’s creed regarding Jesus divinity nor can I proscribe (ban, forbid, or condemn) the Catholic leadership for their stance on same sex marriage and parenting. The vocal and scholarly adherents to the faith who disagree with them can accomplish far more than I ever could as an outside observer.

I call myself a “lesbian”. That I am trans is a different discussion. Can a trans woman be a lesbian? Absolutely. No question, that is what being a woman attracted to a woman is. It is the same question as is a trans woman a woman. Yes.

I always thought, from the people I met, that most of us trans women were gynephile.

I like the terms gyne-sexual and andro-sexual (attracted to females or males respectively and regardless of gender identity.) I am and always have been a gyne-sexual transgender female since birth.

Clare, they do say that most violent anti-gay people are really closet gays themselves. I hope they win too because some of the stories I’ve been hearing about how gays are treated in Uganda are horrifying.
